ESOTECH: Proud to be part of the GREEN TRANSFORMATION in our surroundings |
November 2023:
At ESOTECH, we are proud of another project that is part of the restructuring of coal-mining regions – “Transformation of the District Heating System”.
Together with the Municipality of Velenje, we will carry out the “Green Transformation” project, where key activities will be focused on the placement of newer – green and smart energy production sources that will be able to replace the heat produced from the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant and take a step closer to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from thermal power plants using coal, from which heat is supplied via district heating to end users in our vicinity.
This transformation with this project includes photovoltaic power plants at DWTPs (drinking water treatment plants) Grmov vrh, ?ujež and Mazej, which were designed and built by ESOTECH. In addition to the mentioned facilities, this also includes the Pumping station Konovo photovoltaic power plant and the central WWTP of Šaleška valley photovoltaic power plant together with the battery storage and its integration into the existing electrical system.
Success in the field of green transformation will be brought about by the inclusion of a heat pump for the exploitation of heat-treated wastewater from WWTP Velenje, together with its integration into the existing thermal system of Šaleška valley.
A major breakthrough in the green transformation will certainly be the utilization of the water potential of the Doli? and Toplica springs, which are led through a common pipeline to the ?ujež drinking water treatment plant, which will result through the included new ?ujež hydroelectric power plant, with the aim of covering the own needs of the DWTP facilities for electricity.
With this project, we will demonstrate once again that nature and knowledge can work hand in hand to create a better tomorrow.

Professional excursion to Baranja and Slavonia |
October 2023:
On October 6 and 7, 2023, the company ESOTECH organized a professional excursion to Baranja and Slavonia and, together with its employees, took part in tours of our projects in progress, namely WWTP Slatina, WWTP Pitomača and WWTP Belišče.
The projects are financed by the EU and include the construction of water treatment plants according to the "FIDIC Yellow" system. The built devices will greatly improve the quality of life for the residents of local communities by eliminating environmentally hazardous discharges into the watercourse.
The visit to the construction sites was marked by positive feelings and enthusiasm associated with new references, and then we also visited the city of Osijek and the famous Osijek Cathedral.
As part of the excursion, we ended the evening with a traditional Baranja feast and a social meeting with local tambura players.
The professional excursion was an excellent opportunity for team building and strengthening mutual relations, and at the same time we also gained a lot of new knowledge, which will come in handy in future projects.

Construction of a new cooling tower and design of a new industrial wastewater treatment plant |
August 2023:
ESOTECH has recently signed two contracts with a strategically important customer, SIJ Metal Ravne.
The first contract involves the construction of a new cooling tower with associated infrastructure, for which ESOTECH has also prepared the project documentation.
The second project involves the design of a new industrial wastewater treatment plant that will help improve the management of wastewater and discharges, thereby increasing the environmental sustainability of their production.
The signing of the contracts represents a strengthening of business ties between ESOTECH and SIJ Metal Ravne and paves the way for further cooperation in the future.

Visit of partners RJM International |
July 2023:
In July, a delegation of business partners from abroad visited our company, participating in a fruitful meeting with our key representatives. The visit was part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen business ties and foster new collaborations. The guests represented a prestigious international company with extensive experience in multiple industrial areas, especially in the area of thermoenergetics and demonstrated strong interest in establishing solid partnerships on the international level.
The visit of our foreign business partners was marked by positive feelings and enthusiasm about the future collaboration. We expect that joint projects will contribute to the further development of both companies and accelerate innovations in the shared field.
