April 2018:

For a long time, Esotech has invested in the development of new technologies, as well as in new business models with which we use our knowledge and references - especially in the markets of the Balkans and Central Europe. This is how we prepared the company for the next period - until a new cycle of technological and energy investments in Slovenia.

In the last two years we have also worked intensively on the Ukrainian market in our parade areas - drinking water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, district heating systems and information management systems for infrastructure networks.

We are pleased to announce that we have successfully completed the international tender procedure and signed the first contract in Zhytomyr for the design and implementation of a 220,000 PE treatment plant - which is comparable in size to the Ljubljana Wastewater Treatment Plant. The investment value is EUR 10.5 million.

Last September we opened a representative office in Kiev, established excellent relations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and our embassy in Kiev. It only allowed us access to responsible persons in the highest cities in the Ukrainian government. We sincerely thank them for their excellent work and support.

Our design team is already on site. Due to the remoteness, specific requirements of the project, the market and the success of the project, the new business model will be followed by changes in the organization of the project and the company. The need for adapting to business models for different markets is also dictated by our business in Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

Regardless of the decrease in net sales revenues in 2017, the key indicators of EBITDA cash flow, EBIT operating profit, ROE return on equity continued to remain at the same level, while at the same time increasing the overall economy and added value.
