Velenje, September 20th, 2007: This year’s Pippi Festival hosted boarders from the Center za usposabljanje, delo in varstvo Črna na Koroškem. We have spent a wonderful and eventful day in Pippi’s company.

At the 18^th traditional Pippi Festival the organizers again prepared numerous workshops, where young ones as well as older visitors could find something to enjoy themselves in. But the greatest part of all was the awareness that creativity knows no boundaries.

Boarders and childcare workers were able to choose among various possibilities, ranging from drawing, moulding, painting, playing… Everyone was involved in the creative process, irrespective of their special needs or adjustments. Everyone else could learn a lot, for example, from a blind child, who is painting, or from a child, who is satisfied with a card he created on his own and who wants nothing more. And this is why these products will invoke a wonderful memory of the party with Pippi Longstocking.
