February 2025:

In February 2025, we signed multiple contracts with the client Thermal Power Plant Šoštanj (TEŠ) for various service packages to be carried out during the overhaul of Unit 6, scheduled for this year.

The planned scope of this year’s overhaul includes work on major technological unit systems, flue gas cleaning, and common facilities, specifically: boiler systems, turbine systems, post-combustion systems, flue gas cleaning systems, by-product management systems, and common plant systems.

Unit 6, recognized as the most advanced thermal energy production unit in this part of Europe, generates approximately one-third of Slovenia's total electricity production annually. The overhaul will be essential for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of Unit 6 in the coming years. With carefully executed maintenance and upgrades to individual systems, the power plant will continue to operate with a high level of reliability, while also complying with stringent environmental and technological standards. This will enable Unit 6 to remain a key contributor to the stable and secure electricity supply in Slovenia.
