Construction of a deamonification facility for the treatment of centrate at the šaleška valley central wastewater treatment plant |
August 2024:
At the end of July, we signed a contract with the Municipality of Velenje, the Municipality of Šoštanj, the Municipality of Šmartno ob Paki, and the Velenje Utility Company for the implementation of the project "Construction of a Deamonification Facility for the Treatment of Centrate at the Šaleška Valley Central Wastewater Treatment Plant."
To reduce the current nitrogen load at the Šaleška Valley Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, which enters the water line as internal recycle return water from the dehydration of anaerobically stabilized sludge (centrate) into the main wastewater stream, a deamonification technological process will be used. This process involves a combination of aerobic and anaerobic conversion of ammonia.
This project is yet another in our series of technologically demanding projects. With the collaborative efforts of the entire project team, we believe that this challenge will be one of the highlights in our reference portfolio.

Municipality of Cerknica: Iincreasing the capacity of the Cerknica ultrafiltration water plant |
August 2024:
At the end of July, we signed an important contract with the Municipality of Cerknica for the project titled "Increasing the Capacity of the Cerknica Ultrafiltration Water Plant." This project will enhance the capacity of the Cerknica – Rakek water plant. It is a response to the need for ensuring an adequate supply of drinking water, especially during periods of high water loss. The upgrade includes the installation of additional ultrafiltration modules, which will increase the plant's capacity, as well as the replacement of old UF modules and other equipment.
All work will be carried out within the existing facility, with adjustments to the associated mechanical installations and electrical installations with system automation. This project is of key importance for improving the infrastructure and living conditions in the municipality and represents a significant step towards sustainable water supply.

Signing of the Contract for "Automation of MV Distribution Network Loops – GreenSwitch" - LOT 2: Protection and Control Terminals |
July 2024:
In June 2024, we signed a contract with the client Elektro Celje, d.d. for the supply of goods within the project "Automation of MV Distribution Network Loops – GreenSwitch" - LOT 2: Protection and Control Terminals. The subject of the supply includes protection and control terminals for MV cells operating in a loop, protection and control terminals for MV cells operating in radial mode, and software for configuring, parameterizing, and setting up devices. As part of this project, we will also produce standard equipment configurations according to the client's specifications.
The supply of goods under this public procurement is (co)financed by the EU GreenSwitch project. The quantities are planned for a two-year period, and the equipment and services must meet both the minimum general and additional requirements.

KINDERGARTEN ŽALEC – WEST, a child and environment-friendly kindergarten |
February 2024:
In cooperation with the Municipality of Žalec, the new construction of the almost zero-energy kindergarten Žalec West was successfully completed, which represents an important step in terms of the sustainable development of the local community of Žalec. The goal of the project was to establish a modern, 9-department kindergarten that not only serves its basic purpose, but also uses renewable energy sources.
The new construction of the kindergarten in Žalec will accommodate as many as 198 children of all three age groups, which is an important step towards improving the quality of life in the local community. In addition to the comprehensive arrangement of the building, the new structure will also include the arrangement of the surroundings, including access, parking and outdoor play areas.
The new almost zero-energy construction of the Žalec - West kindergarten is an example of excellent practice of sustainable urban development, which sets standards for the future and enables quality life for current and future generations.
Vrtec Žalec - West is a public-private partnership project with the Municipality of Žalec.
