February 2017:

In the last week of January, the municipality of Velenje hosted representatives of friendly cities from the Republic of Srbska and the Republic of Serbia.

The two-day visit in Velenje, was attended by Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska Petar Đokić, Minister for Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska Zlatan Klokić, Member of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Marko Vidaković, Chief of the Office of the President of the Republic of Srpska Danijel Dragičević and colleagues of the Office of the Prime Minister Republika Srpska. Visiting Velenje were also mayors of Istočno Novo Sarajevo Ljubiša Ćosić, Prijedor Milenko Đaković, Sremska Mitrovica Vladimir Sanader, Visegrad Mladen Đurević with colleagues and representatives of the cities of Banja Luka, Trebinje, Valjevo and Vranje.

January 2017:

Esotech has built two new ski jumps for the municipality of Velenje in the area of the jumping center K55 and K35. The facility is designed for club needs. After the FIS categorization the jumpers are among the smaller ones and are placed in the space in the locations of existing jumps, which were previously demolished. As part of the construction, a new tower was erected, while also existing facilities (chalet, court tower S7) were legalized.

November 2016:

Finishing work on the construction of the new building mechanical treatment is being carried out and is in the final stage. Upgrading existing tanks according to a new technological concept to ensure flood safety have been completed. Rehabilitation of concrete surfaces are being carried out on the reconstructed pools: anaerobic and aerobic reactor 1, balancing pool, aerobic reactor 2 and the plate sedimentation tank. All technological equipment is delivered and in preparation for the start of assembly on site. Electrical switchboards are already under construction in our electrical workshop and will soon be ready for installation on the site. Approval for the amendment of the building permit are gained.
