The traditional sports and social meeting of Esotech employees, d.d. |
July 2021:
On July 2, 2021, taking into account the measures of the NIJZ (National institute of Public Health), we organized the 46th traditional meeting of "svinčnikarjev, šraufencigerjev and rorcangerjev" in Šentilj. Attendance at the meeting was remarkable, as two years have passed since the last meeting (due to COVID-19). Due to the nature of our work, some co-workers do not see each other often in person, so this year's participation showed that we want an appreciate such meetings.
After the addressing speech of the President of the Board, Mr. Marko Škoberne and the director of assembly, Mr. Bogdan Špegel, the sports part of the meeting began. In the sports part, teams competed in football, basketball, volleyball, table football,... This year, in all disciplines, “šraufencigerji in rorcangerji” celebrated in front of “svinčnikarji” players. Drago Pavlič and Matej Planinc showed the most skills in table football (as they have done for several years now).

Construction of municipal wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) Slatina |
May 2021:
On the project "Construction of a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) Slatina", the official opening of the contracted works took place on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, and the construction of the access road to the WWTP Slatina began. The grand opening of the works was carried out by the Mayor of Slatina, Mr. Denis Ostrošić and the director of Komrad d.o.o. g. Mato Miličić. Representatives of the client expressed great satisfaction with the start of works on WWTP Slatina, which will be of great importance for the protection of the environment, the Drava River and indirectly the quality of life of the residents of Slatina and its surroundings.

Signing of contracts for the design and construction of two municipal wastewater treatment plants - Belišće and Petrijevci |
April 2021:
On April 27, 2021, Esotech, d.d. (Boštjan Žigon, Vice president R&D) in the role of contractor and the public utility company company Dvorac d.o.o. (Mrs. Iva Matić, director) in the role of the clientsigned contracts for the design and construction of two municipal wastewater treatment plants in Valpovo (RH).
In addition to the signatories the contract signing was also attended by the mayor of Valpovo, Mr. Matko šutalo, mayor of Belišće Mr. Dinko Burić, director of company Hidrobel Mrs. Lidija Gavrić, general manager of Hrvatske vode Mr. Zoran Đuroković, director of VGO Osijek HV Mr. Željko Kovačević, envoy of the mayor of Osijek-Baranja County MP Mr. Goran Ivanović and many other important participants.
The project is divided into two separate contracts, namely WWTP Belišće, with a capacity of 24.200 PE (III. treatment stage) and WWTP Petrijevci, with a capacity of 9.800 PE (II. treatment stage). Both contracts will be implemented according to the FIDIC contractual provisions. The implementation period for both projects is three years, which also includes a trial operation lasting one year.

Production of protection and control cabinets for the DTS Beričevo project and the beginning of FAT testing in Esotech, d.d. |
April 2021:
Since the beginning of 2021 in Esotech, d.d. the production of equipment for the DTS Beričevo 400/220/110 kV substation is underway, which is our largest distribution transformer station in the transmission network of Slovenia. As part of the project, supply and installation of secondary equipment, we will manufacture 53 cabinets for the protection and management of the said switchyard.
On Monday, April 12, 2021, in the renovated production facilities of power and switchgear devices Esotech, d.d. started factory equipment tests (FAT) for the DTS Beričevo project. The test site, in addition to protection and control cabinets, comprises the installation of the entire communication infrastructure, including all connections. We installed over 1.2 km of optical connections and connected devices for redundancy simulation (duplicate connection). We have temporarily installed field simulators in the cabinets, which will facilitate and speed up the factory testing of the systems.
Equipment testing is expected to take 3 months. During this time, the client will perform a simulation of the operation of the equipment in full and thus confirm that the quality of the equipment we manufactured and supplied at Esotech, d.d. is at the highest possible level.

Signing of a contract for the upgrade and reconstruction of the wastewater treatment plant for the treatment of municipal wastewater of the Pitomača agglomeration |
April 2021:
On Monday, April 12, 2021, we signed a contract for the design, upgrade and reconstruction of a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 9.000 PE for the treatment of municipal wastewater from the Pitomača agglomeration, with the client VIRKOM d.o.o. Agglomeration includes the settlements of Pitomača, Grabrovica, Dinjevac, Kladare, Otrovanec and Stari Grad.
The signing of the contract took place at the introductory conference for the project, which was also attended by high representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of Croatia, State Secretary Mario Šiljeg; Representatives of the Croatian Parliament: Vesna Bedeković and Josip ?akić; General Manager of “Hrvatske vode” Zoran ?uroković and his deputy Damir Vukmirić, director of “SAFU” Tomislav Petrić, Virovitica-Podravina Mayor Igor Andrović and his deputy Marijo Klement, Mayor of Virovitica Ivica Kirin and his deputy Damir Marenić, director of “VGO Osijek Hrvatske vode” Željko Kovačević, director of the client Virkom Tihana Harmund, Mayor of Pitomača Željko Grgačić and others.
540 days are planned for the implementation of the project. With the signing of this contract, we are continuing with a series of reference projects in the field of design and construction (yellow FIDIC) of municipal wastewater treatment plants in Croatia.
