October 2022:

On Wednesday 5.10.2022, Mr. Marko Škoberne, President of the Board of Esotech, d.d., as the contractor of the project, Mr. Darko Menih, Mayor of the Municipality of Šoštanj, as the investor and the guest of honour at the event, Mr. Mag. Bojan Kumer, Minister of Infrastructure of the Republic of Slovenia, laid the foundation stone to mark the start of the construction of the new garage building in Šoštanj. The event was enriched with a programme by the Svoboda choir and the Zarja brass band.

Esotech, d.d. was selected as the contractor for the project following a public tender in September 2022. The subject of the contract covers the execution of all construction works, services and supply of materials and goods for the new garage building, on the basis of the building permit already obtained and the project documentation prepared for the execution of the works. The deadline for completion of the works is 30.4.2023.

Esotech is pleased to be building in the local area again, which confirms the continuation of good past projects and cooperation with the Municipality of Šoštanj. It is the local environment that gives the company the momentum, confidence and references to establish itself internationally.

September 2022:

On Monday, September 5, 2022, Mr. Marko Škoberne, president of the board of Esotech, d.d., as contractor and concessionaire of the project, together with the grantor Municipality of Žalec - Mayor Mr. Janko Kos, and users of JZ Kindergartens of the Municipality of Žalec - the headmistress Mrs. Natalija Starič Žikić, marked the start of construction by laying the foundation stone. The event was enriched with a program by children who attend the Žalec kindergarten, as well as majorettes and the Liboje band. The laying of the foundation stone took place in the presence of guests of the Municipality of Žalec, the deputy mayor, municipal councilors, the extended project team, supervision, journalists and the interested public. Esotech, d.d. also donated 5.000 EUR to JZ Vrtci Občine Žalec for the purchase of teaching and didactic aids.

Since the signing of the concession contract (January 2022), the design of the Žalec zahod kindergarten, the acquisition of all necessary permits and a building permit, the arrangement of sources of financing for the project, the arrangement of the construction site and the start of earthworks, have taken place. The execution of GOI works, electrical and mechanical installations for the construction of a 9-section kindergarten with a central kitchen and comprehensive external arrangement will take place until September 2023, when the use permit will be obtained and the use of the facility will begin. Kindergarten Žalec zahod is the third kindergarten that Esotech, d.d. builds according to the public-private partnership system, namely the "DFBOT" model, which means design-finance-build-manage and take ownership. The concessionaire will maintain and operate the facility for 15 years (September 2038).

August 2022:

On Friday, August 26, 2022, a final conference was held in Piran with a demonstration of prototype devices within the Green Hull development project, which is supported by the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia cooperation program and financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Project partners, who participated in the development project, which lasted 30 months are: Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School (lead partner), National Institute of Biology, Marine Biological Station Piran, Esotech, d.d., CORILA Venice, COMET Pordenone, associated partners: Luka Koper, Port of Trieste and ARPA FVG.

ESOTECH, d.d. has been involved in developing technology in the field of cleaning contaminated waters, which arise in the underwater cleaning of vegetation from ship hulls with the help of an innovative remotely operated vessel (ROV). Esotech, d.d. designed and manufactured modular purification plant for the emission of all undissolved impurities in contaminated seawater. The cleaning device operates in a closed circuit and in accordance with legal requirements.

The measurements carried out on 19.8.2022 showed the effective removal of dissolved metals (below the legal limit values) and ensuring the integrity of the sea water (with UV disinfection), which confirms that we were successful in the design, development, sizing and production of a modular treatment plant.

July 2022:

On Thursday 7.7.2022, Mr. Marko Škoberne, President of the Board of Esotech, d.d., as the contractor of the project, together with the investor - the Municipality of Mozirje - the Mayor of the Municipality of Mozirje, Mr. Ivo Suhoveršnik, the Principal of the Primary School of Mozirje, Mrs. Petra Klepec, assistant principal Mrs. Rozika Kanjir and the Director and Principal of the JVIZ Mrs. Mateja Glušič, marked the start of construction by laying the foundation stone. The laying of the foundation stone also took place in the presence of a Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Slovenia, municipal councillors, the extended project team, supervisors and the interested public.

The subject of the contract comprises of: preparation of the design documentation, execution of all necessary construction, craft and installation works, electrical and mechanical installations for the extension and improvement of the facilities and obtaining all necessary administrative permits for handing over the facilities to the client, as well as the construction of the municipal infrastructure. On the eastern side of the existing kindergarten, a two-storey building (38.91 m x 19.58 m, net floor area 852 m2) is planned. The extension will provide two new modern playrooms with a terrace, technical rooms and, by reorganising part of the existing premises, a new sensory room.
