Velenje, December 12th, 2007: At
the end of the year the Cultural Home Velenje prepared an event, to
which we have invited all our co-workers, pensioners, scholarship
holders, and their close ones. In the introductory part we have
rewarded jubilee celebrators, announced the best projects,
innovators, and co-workers. But the greatest moment for the children
was surely the arrival of dedek Mraz (Grandpa Frost) and the gifts he
brought.
In the introductory
part everyone present were welcomed by the president of the
management board, Marko Škoberne, who
stressed key projects of 2007, which are at the same time the best
references for future development of the company. But without the
people, who develop and implement these projects in the area of
ecology and economy, success would be less meaningful. So, he
invited to the stage and congratulated the jubilee celebrators for
twenty (Danilo Friškovec, Milan Lednik, Branko Pohole, Franc Ovčar,
Ivan Pantner, Srečko Krt, Vili Dobovičnik, and Janja Kugovnič) and
thirty years of work (Boris Krk, Milan Leskovšek, Danilo
Radusinovič, Jože Verdnik, Josip Vugrinec, Branko Potočnik, Milan
Podpečan, and Maks Černjavič).
This was followed by
the announcement of the best development project (Naj razvojni
projekt leta 2007), and namely: The treatment plant for sediment pits
Blooming and Steckel, whose project leader was Boštjan Žigon. In
the project he was also assisted by the following people: Miha
Špegel, Boštjan Uran, Darko Mandel, Uroš Krajner, Marko
Škoberne, Iztok Hrastel, Mersida Rogo, and others.
Further on, the best
implementation project (Naj izvedbeni projekt leta 2007) was also
announced: The construction of the KOTO pilot biogas plant. The
project was realized thanks to the project leader Drago Pavlič and
his co-workers: Boštjan Žigon, Miha Špegel, Danilo Friškovec,
Igor Kovač, Ado Cverlin, Jaro Mravljak, Maks Motaln, Oto Božič,
Bogo Dolenc, Boris Krk, Stane Čuješ, Pavel Sešel, Jože Čas,
Slobodan Mrkonjič, Boštjan Brilej, and others.
However, development
as well as implementation projects are based on innovations. Hence,
the best innovators for 2007 became: Miha Špegel, Aleš Ževart, and
Uroš Krajner.
Last, but not least,
in the opinion of all employees, successful team work was mostly
realized by the Best female co-worker Darja Cvikel and the Best male
co-worker Pavle Planinc.
The event also
hosted the group Turbo Angels. Children’s performance Pogumni jelen
(The brave deer) has brought joy and enthusiasm to children, who also
learned about the meaning of the sorting of waste. The performance
was followed by the arrival of dedek Mraz, gift-giving, socializing,
etc… until the next year.
