On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, we signed a contract with the client "Public Company Elektroprivreda Srbije" for the full implementation of the project "Wastewater Treatment System in TENT B".
The Nikola Tesla B thermal power plant (TENT B) is located on the right bank of the Sava, 50 kilometres west of Belgrade and 17 kilometres from the TENT A complex. It has two largest power units (B1 and B2) in Serbia, with a total installed capacity of 1300 MW. The project will significantly reduce the harmful effects of wastewater by reducing concentrations of various pollutants (heating oil, mineral oils, suspended solids, heavy metals, BOD) so that they comply with EU directives and national and local laws and regulations. A comprehensive wastewater treatment system comprises of four technological wastewater treatment plants: (1) S1 treatment of oily wastewaters, (2) S2 treatment of wastewaters contaminated with coal dust, (3) S3 treatment of wastewaters from a flue gas desulphurisation plant and (4) biological treatment of sanitary wastewaters.
Esotech, d.d. will carry out the following activities within the project: design, obtaining all necessary permits, construction of the treatment plants system, supply and installation of mechanical-technological and electrical equipment, start-ups, trial operation, education and training of the operator (client's staff).
This is Esotech's second project of the same type with the client PC EPS Srbije, as we have successfully implemented a comprehensive project "Wastewater treatment system in TENT A" in recent years.
