April 2021:

On Monday, April 12, 2021, we signed a contract for the design, upgrade and reconstruction of a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 9.000 PE for the treatment of municipal wastewater from the Pitomača agglomeration, with the client VIRKOM d.o.o. Agglomeration includes the settlements of Pitomača, Grabrovica, Dinjevac, Kladare, Otrovanec and Stari Grad.

The signing of the contract took place at the introductory conference for the project, which was also attended by high representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of Croatia, State Secretary Mario Šiljeg; Representatives of the Croatian Parliament: Vesna Bedeković and Josip ?akić; General Manager of “Hrvatske vode” Zoran ?uroković and his deputy Damir Vukmirić, director of “SAFU” Tomislav Petrić, Virovitica-Podravina Mayor Igor Andrović and his deputy Marijo Klement, Mayor of Virovitica Ivica Kirin and his deputy Damir Marenić, director of “VGO Osijek Hrvatske vode” Željko Kovačević, director of the client Virkom Tihana Harmund, Mayor of Pitomača Željko Grgačić and others.

540 days are planned for the implementation of the project. With the signing of this contract, we are continuing with a series of reference projects in the field of design and construction (yellow FIDIC) of municipal wastewater treatment plants in Croatia.

March 2021:

On Thursday, March 25, 2021, the President of the Board of Esotech, d.d., Marko Škoberne (contractor) and the Director of “Vodovod Imotske krajine” Mr. Luka Ćorić (client) signed an agreement for the design and construction of the Imotski municipal wastewater treatment plant.

In addition to all other important members from the Republic of Croatia, signing was attended by the Minister of the Economy and Sustainable Development Mr. Tomislav Ćorić, mayor of the city Imotski g. Ivan Budalić, Mayor of the Municipality of Proložac Mr. Mate Lasić, Deputy Prefect of the Split-Dalmatia County Mr. Ante Šošić and the director of “Hrvatske vode” Mr. Zoran Đuroković.

Esotech, d.d. will, within the project of construction of a municipal wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 13.300 PE (CAS technology - conventional) under the FIDIC Yellow contract, carry out following activities: design, obtaining all necessary permits, construction of a wastewater treatment plant including solar sludge drying plant, supply and installation of mechanical, technological and electrical equipment, commissioning of the plant, trial operation, education and training of the operator (client's staff).

For Esotech, d.d. this is the fourth reference project a series of design and construction of municipal wastewater treatment plants in the Republic of Croatia recently.

March 2021:

On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, we signed a contract with the client "Public Company Elektroprivreda Srbije" for the full implementation of the project "Wastewater Treatment System in TENT B".

The Nikola Tesla B thermal power plant (TENT B) is located on the right bank of the Sava, 50 kilometres west of Belgrade and 17 kilometres from the TENT A complex. It has two largest power units (B1 and B2) in Serbia, with a total installed capacity of 1300 MW. The project will significantly reduce the harmful effects of wastewater by reducing concentrations of various pollutants (heating oil, mineral oils, suspended solids, heavy metals, BOD) so that they comply with EU directives and national and local laws and regulations. A comprehensive wastewater treatment system comprises of four technological wastewater treatment plants: (1) S1 treatment of oily wastewaters, (2) S2 treatment of wastewaters contaminated with coal dust, (3) S3 treatment of wastewaters from a flue gas desulphurisation plant and (4) biological treatment of sanitary wastewaters.

Esotech, d.d. will carry out the following activities within the project: design, obtaining all necessary permits, construction of the treatment plants system, supply and installation of mechanical-technological and electrical equipment, start-ups, trial operation, education and training of the operator (client's staff).

This is Esotech's second project of the same type with the client PC EPS Srbije, as we have successfully implemented a comprehensive project "Wastewater treatment system in TENT A" in recent years.
