November 2020:
School-based learning has been replaced by distance learning due to the current epidemiological situation. This way of schooling can cause additional problems and distress in some families, as not all students have the appropriate computer equipment. The computer has thus become an indispensable tool for every student. We received a request for a donation of computer equipment from the School for Service Activities and the Mechanical School of the Velenje School Center. We responded with joy and heartiness and donated two laptops to each school. We wish them successful distance learning.

Construction of a wood biomass boiler plant in the Municipality of Slovenj Gradec |
October 2020:
On 14th October 2020, a contract was signed with the client PC Komunala Slovenj Gradec (public utility company) for the construction of a wood biomass boiler plant. The new wood biomass boiler plant, which will provide thermal energy for 1.468 customers, will contribute to meeting the requirements of the Energy Act, namely that at least 50% of the heat is produced from renewable energy sources. It will also make a sustainable contribution to the conservation of non-renewable energy sources and to the reduction of emissions into the atmosphere and carbon neutrality. Completion of construction and start of operation of the boiler plant is scheduled for September 2021.

Concession for the implementation of the energy savings contracting project for the complete energy renovation of the facilities of the Veržej Primary School, the Veržej Educational Home, the Kobilje Primary School and the Radenci Sports Hall |
September 2020:
In August 2020, we signed a concession agreement with the grantors: Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia, Municipality of Veržej, Municipality of Kobilje and Municipality of Radenci for the implementation of the concessioned activity, i.e. energy savings contracting services according to the principle of contractual provision of energy savings in the following facilities: PS and Educational Home Veržej; Kobilje Primary School, Kindergarten and Gymnasium and Radenci Sports Hall.
The implementation of measures to improve energy efficiency in these facilities is intensive and will be completed according to the project schedule in 2020. After the approval of all implemented investment measures for the improvement of energy efficiency, the concessionaire begins to provide contractually defined savings while taking into account the standard of user comfort. The concession lasts for 180 months (15 years) from the entry into force of the concession agreement in question.

Signing of the contract for the CTN project Revitalization of the Old Town core |
July 2020:
On Thursday, July 9, 2020, Esotech, d.d. signed a contract with the Municipality of Velenje for carry out the CTN project Revitalization of the Old Town core. Within the CTN projects, and especially the last CTN project, the employer would like to renovate and revive the Old Town core in Staro Velenje, which is also protected as a cultural monument. The scope of the contract works are: demolition of the "old bakery" building and construction of a new building; construction of the necessary infrastructure network, connections, facilities and devices; comprehensive external arrangement (driveways, accesses, paved areas next to the building, green areas), which means a comprehensive arrangement of the old market core without motor traffic and a corresponding change in the traffic regime.

DTS 400/220/110 kV Beri?evo - supply of secondary equipment, manufacture and installation of secondary equipment cabinets and electrical installation works |
June 2020:
In June 2020 we signed a contract, with employer ELES, d.o.o. for the supply of secondary equipment, supply, manufacture and installation of cabinets for secondary equipment and the implementation of electrical installation works in the distribution transformer station (DTS) Beri?evo.
The Beri?evo substation with the highest voltage level of 400 kV serves as: (1) a hub for the transmission of electricity in international transmissions of electrical energy from east to west; (2) node in the transmission of el. energy between Slovenian regions; (3) the most important supply point for the Ljubljana consumer area with its wider surroundings.
Project activities are already underway; in accordance with the contractual schedule, the project will be completed in 2023.
